We Carry Out Treatment

Our mosquito exterminators go the extra mile! Upon arrival, your technician will also look for signs of ticks or mosquitoes and identify other potential breeding grounds. To prevent future infestations our technician will be reapplying mosquito treatments throughout the season, depending on your package chosen.

Mosquito Control Service
We spray the border of the property to create a boundary. We then spray any foliage and bushes/hedges in the interior of the property and under any decks or dark shaded areas where mosquitos breed. Application is applied every3-4 weeks throughout the season. Benefits of this service are a mosquito free property. Now we can’t always eliminate every mosquito realistically, but we can eliminate 99%. We offer a mosquito free guarantee. If you don’t notice a difference and still notice mosquitos on the property, we will come and respray immediately. We have packages to fit every budget and special events.

Tick Control Service
We spray the border of the property to create a boundary. Spraying from the ground up the first 4 feet. Spraying any long grass,brush,foliage,wood piles,leaf piles. Any major areas ticks breed and sit to attach to their nest host. Now we can’t always eliminate every tick realistically, but we can eliminate 99% of them. We take a lot more aggressive approach to tick control then our competitors. Our competitors spray once in the spring and once in the fall and apply tick tubes around the property. The issue with that is after 4-5 weeks the application has worn off and a new cycle of ticks have moved into your property. The other issue is the tick tubes only effect ticks that are hosting on mice. As the mice use the tick tubes for bedding and infect the tick that is hosted on them. If a tick has not hosted on mice between treatments it is ineffective. We have found a lot more success and results with spraying a property every 4-5weeks with an application to continue eliminating the new cycle of ticks as they come to your property. We offer many different packages to fit every budget.

All-Natural Applications
All-Natural applications are available for both mosquito and tick services. This a great option for those that need relief from these pests but want a pesticide free solution. This type of application is still very effective but does not eliminate mosquito and ticks it is a deterrent. We use a special Natural garlic and cedar oil mix. This application will push these unwanted pests away from your property as will created a boundary when applying. Which will stop them from wanting to continue into your property. For ticks application will be every 4 weeks. For mosquito application it is every 3 weeks. This application is best suited for light to average foliage properties.
About Mosquito Gone
Mosquito Gone was created out of a need to solve a problem in an area that seemed to have no service for the issue.
After moving into the Northumberland County/Trent hills area owners Justin and Jess Markland noticed an uptick in the number of ticks their dog was contracting in their area. Justin who has a background in pest and weed control decided to broaden his spectrum of pest control and began research and courses into tick control. Mosquitoes seemed like a natural addition to add as a service.

Justin soon noticed that there was improvement that could be made to the application process in which other companies were offering. It was noticed that most were only applying to foliage and bushes/hedges and leaving large garden areas untouched which can major breeding grounds for pests.
After much research the decision was made to apply garden areas and areas vulnerable to bees and pollinators with an all-natural application that would not affect these beneficial insects but deter mosquitoes and ticks from that area. Creating a much more powerful fight against these pests and driving mosquitoes and ticks away from these areas and into the pesticide applied areas.
